I Am Rainfield

A blogger friend, Bengbeng, who came from Sibu called me. I answered “wrong number” at the other end of the line. I had forgotten that I am Ranfield whom I only know in the virtual world.

So we had a date, and we hiked at Cerok Tokun on one Saturday morning.

The morning looked so different. The familiar faces who I used to meet when going downhill had changed side with me.

The morning looked so different. We still exchanged greeting by eye contact, or by body language, everything seemed to be going on as usual, but I had to remind myself I am Rainfield.

(Hello! Oh yes, I am Rainfield; and you are Bengbeng.)

  2. Hahaha... that happens when you use Aliases. That is why I don't have one because I also forget who I was. Hope you had a wonderful time with your friend, Rainfield.

  10. That was a funny experience having forgotten who I am.

If this happened in school, I must be asked to write my name more than a thousand time.

    I am Rainfield.

  14. I think many of us can understand this confusion. I forget my real name when I'm online.
