I am not Alone

When I hike alone, it is actually many hikers are walking on the same trail. And when I feel eerie about the darkness in the jungle, then just after another turn, the scene change.

At the time I watch the sky, many others are doing the same, only at some different corners. I am watching, but I may be watched too. It sounds eerie.

This is the sky I watched last week. I went back to the same corner this morning, the sky was not the same one anymore. Only change itself will never change. In the end of a complete cycle, there is a possibility I shall meet my familiar one.

When I watch with my own thinking, one of the others is watching too. I am not a Kingfisher, I cannot tell how the sky is as in its eyes.

Even a piece of dead tree would like to go after the bright part of the sky. If you ask whether I really just hike alone at the place that looks so eerie, I want to say, I am not alone. There are people with me. If I choose a quiet one, the birds or the trees may lead me to the brighter part of the trail.

Otherwise, there is some other else. I saw a wild boar for the first time at cerok Tokun this morning. It was just ten feet away from me.

  4. I like the 3rd photo, the dead tree looks like asking for the sun to be resurected.

    A blessed Sunday to you.

  5. The kingfisher is so colorful. That must have been exciting to see a wild boar so close. I wonder what other animals were watching you.

  6. I really appreciate the thoughts you have when you are hiking. I also like the pictures you used to illustrate those thoughts. The branch reaching for the sun is especially meaningful.

  7. Mike: The weather is peculiar this year. We do not expect raining days recently.

fufu: Don't tell me one day you have hiked Mt. Everest too. Your life is really colourful.

Tabib: I think so, and cloud floating is so fantastic!

Misalyn: A blessed Sunday to you too.

Diane: I managed to have a glimpse at the wild boar before it moved away. I was not much frightened to see this wild boar at the busy hiking trail. It must be a different story if I am inside the jungle, alone.

wenn: Happy holiday, with your girl.

  8. i wake up in the clouds of dreams and come face to face with a kingfisher staring on the horizon, upon which the sun fails to grace us with its warmth....a looming downpour, tears of heaven to sated the needs of earth!

wonderful series of pictures, chronologically arrange for a story!

i, too, murmurs every now and again...so unfortunate that you happen to hear one of mine...LOL!

  11. I get that kind of eerir feeling in the jungle too. From time to time, I just recite the names of Buddha and keep the cool.

You are lucky to spot kingfisher on the tree top!

  12. Wonderful photos, I especially like the lone branch reaching out to the sun. It is interesting the thoughts we have when hiking, thank you for sharing yours. We are never alone no matter where we hike. It can be a jungle, a forest, the desert or tundra but we always have other eyes watching.

  14. I am never alone when I hike either. There is always someone else on the trail somewhere. And if there is not another person, there is all the animals to keep me company. I understand what you mean.

  18. George: It is so delightful to be able to write down my murmur, and you happen to like them.

Quasi Serendipita: Thanks you for sharing your view.

Salitype: I am learning from you. You have been murmuring so many interesting points and view.

So great to wake up in the morning, staring on the horizon and find you murmuring.

Pacey: Most of your pictures do the same to me as well.

Poetic Shutterbug: Your encouragement will keep me going. Thank you.

roentarre: You recite the names of Buddha, and I put my palms together, just to keep cool.

SquirrelQueen: We always have other eyes watching. I have this strong belief since very young. So better be watchful.

Footsteps: So you are, alone with your own thought, while sweating and puffing. I can share the same feeling.

Ratty: Yes, I understand what you mean as well.

Kirigalpoththa: Hey there, can you hear me calling from top of cloud?

Cher: Hehehe...my car was too too far away for my protection this time. Luckily, the wild boar did not like the crowd of people.

Life Ramblings: I feel the same, but the joy of adventurous mind drives me on.

  19. When you are alone in the jungle, do you feel as though you are not alone, like someone invisible following you?

  22. In my opinion hiking alone is not safe. Better to have a companion just in case of emergency situations.

  23. to me the second pic evokes a sense of loneliness..the bird pic
