Bidding Brodie Helmets

Every one of them is wearing a Brodie helmet, a heavy piece of metal mottled in the color of the surrounding, that might have been collected since British Colonization in Malaysia back in the nineteenth century.

If bidders start placing bids, these helmets should worth a fortune as an antique, and it is sure a terrific business possibility.

One shall not think hiking is just one of those exercise activities. The first pot of gold can be scooped once mind starts to wander, as you are wandering.

Life is great.

Flowers for Leontien

Don't argue that these are not flowers. They are. They are indeed very beautiful.

And I shall never argue that no battle cannot be conquered. The symmetry of these flowers echoes that, and that is being echoed back and forth.

Millions hugs to you, Leontien, while the echo continues.

Funnier Than Me

A skipper butterfly zooms past me, and makes a long solid flapping sound.

It circles, and finally perches on my leg, as if I am a flower plant.

It flies to my camera bag that have been placed on the ground, and is now its new target, a big black flower.

I try to wave it away, but it returns immediately, and swings its abdomen up and down like a pendulum, that never tells time, but I time: one, two, three, four and far more. That attracts my curiosity.

What on earth is it doing on my bag?

Then I discover some "liquids" are released onto my bag. They seep through the fabrics, and disappear.

Is the butterfly laying eggs on my bag?

A butterfly can lay as many as two hundreds eggs at one time. Am I going to see this number of caterpillars on my bag after a week?

No caterpillars please!! They are nice in pictures, but not as pets.

But when two hundreds of butterflies bloom like flowers, how magnificent it will be!

Freddy Krueger, And Chocolate Ice Cream

There are flower fairies who live inside the flowers. That was a story told by a little girl.

There are zombies wandering around in the forests. An old man told me. It was Freddy Krueger that was spotted this time.

It seems that we talk no and see no fairy tales, but adventure more like a thriller seeker when we grow older; one thrill, or one challenge, after another.

Taking chocolate ice cream may be the only habit that have survived through.

So much so a zombie was very influenced, it excitedly asked for a cone of ice cream, and that must be of chocolate flavor.

It stretches its hand, seven twenty four.

The zombie must be hysterical

An Orange Skipper

A skipper butterfly, by it name, is the skipper of today session. No more rattle, and not showing a little bit of bad, I follow through.

Life should be easy, but I shall not count the total though its tiny hairs are obviously clear. I just follow through.

"You can act like a clown. While most of us enjoying the funny show, you will end up with descent pictures." The skipper guides me through.

"Do not waste time setting up a shot, take a spontaneous one. Imperfection is beauty."

"And don't forget to bring ice-cream in your next trip. I prefer chocolate flavor."

"Aahaahh, now I see what you mean!" I murmur.

Living Next Door To Alice

The last story was told by a little beetle. Let's hear what the spider has to say this time.

All the time I am here, looking for another chance.

Come on, Laura, I've been waiting, for a girl like you, to come into my life.

But it is Alice instead, to surrender to me. How sweet she is.

I can't wait to give her more hugs, and more kisses.

So good to have living next door to Alice, though it is not necessarily to be for twenty-four years.

Now I'll never get used to not living next door to Alice...
