Flamingos of Mushrooms

We got a few days of downpours that not only washed away haze, but also awakened many little sexy pink mushrooms.

They were so tiny to be appreciated. When forming a colony, they became my miniature flamingos of mushrooms.

They danced in partnership and performed courtship rituals along the shore line, I assumed.  I stopped, and I admired.

As though I was at Lake Nakuru enjoying the most fabulous bird spectacle in the world.

One Day in My Life

I was shocked having known I needed to sit for a test tomorrow.  After clearing my mind, I laughed with relief as my last examination happened some twenty seven years ago. I had a dream!

I was then testing the surrounding very relaxedly with my camera while a hiker passed by this morning. I took a shot of her receding figure. This was really a shot only and she was fast to disappear over a bend.

A quick playback showed me a total dark screen, but there was no pressure as nobody would mark this result.

However, it turned out to be fine after some editing works. All these changes I have gone through repeat everywhere.

Here and there.

Life is GREAT

I believe that life is great.

I met a chameleon which was within a photographic range this morning. How great was its life for seeing a species that had never crossed its mind before?

Life is great. We were able to see eye to eye, but it never jumped onto me when we kept  ourselves at only an arm's length .

Life is great. It seemed to be as handsome as me. What was in its mind? No, that required no second thought at all!!

Life is always great, and continues to be great, as long as every single little thing is great, and I can continue to hike, forever.

One At A Time

What is taking place when I go hiking at Cerok Tokun? What happens in every split of second? I have surely missed most of them and only to witness one at a time.

Whenever I meet them, these wasp moths are always busy, very busy planning the future of their next generations. Oh, first things first.

And when I discover spiders in another second, they are there waiting for silly Laura the beetle or Alice the bee to come by while wearing a pair of sun glasses, sipping an icy cola, listening to iPod and humming "I've been waiting for a girl like you to come into my life".

Yes, I have missed most of the moments and only to witness one at a time, but this is enough to make my day bright.

If I Can Fly

A juvenile plant thinks it grows pairs of wings and perceives that it can fly. Since it can fly, it wants to show off and flaps without letup when I am climbing uphill, while wind is blowing.

It dreams not to have a jungle as the boundary, as stories of sea are always whispered in the nosy wind, if it can fly.

It continues to flap hard when I am on my way to descent, as the serene and beautiufl sea at night is its destination.

It has a dream, and an illusion. It believes it can fly.

Very Fresh Morning

I never failed to bring my camera bag when going hiking. Whenever I was soaked, it was soaked too.

It became the attention of a skipper moth many months ago, and it is an attraction to a bee now.

My sweat must have turned into nectar or alike through years of chemical process, which sounds ridiculous but is true at this moment in time.

The bee is still sipping and that must taste good in the comfort of fresh sunny morning.
